Delicious food and excellent services are available in the Reserve. The region is not as isolated as usually depicted and most places have free wi-fi. The area has Three banks, seven post-offices, many taxi servers, buses (small, medium and large) for hire. We have 20+ supermarkets and small food shops. Six petrol (gas) stations. Numerous hairdressers, beautician’s, cafe’s, restaurants, public houses, off license’s, car maintenance mechanics, Creche’s, playgrounds, a Police station, a large public library, craft shops, shoe shops, dress shops etc etc etc.

Barbara’s Beach Cafe is open 7 days a week during the summer from 10am to 6pm and serves a wide variety of sandwiches, toasties, pastries, cakes and ice-creams. Teas, coffees including cappuccino and latte, hot chocolate, soups and soft drinks available too.
Barbara has a selection of black and white historic photographs of the region available as prints and framed prints. You are very welcome to browse while enjoying coffee and cake. Wi-Fi is available.
